These rides are generally shorter and at an easier pace (LT = 9-10 MPH average on hilly rides / 11-12 MPH on flat rides). These rides are also no-drop, so you don't have to worry about being left behind! Ride #4 includes two of the best bikeable redwood groves in the East Bay! Starting at Orinda BART, ride to Moraga, out Canyon Rd to Pinehurst, climb Pinehurst (surprisingly steep bit at the very top!). Cruise along Skyline Dr and down through Reinhardt Redwoods and Joaquin Miller parks, down Redwood Rd, up little Pinehurst, through another redwood grove on the descent, and back to Orinda!
