| "Established in 1963, our club is the most active in the Northeast with both racing and recreational cyclists of all abilities. Currently we have members living in NY City, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, Rockland and Northern New Jersey. Kissena has produced many great cyclists, including Olympic medalists; (Leonard Nitz), Tour de France riders; (George Hincapie, Doug Shapiro), and dozens of National Champions. (John Loehner, Andrew Lewis, Pete Senia Jr., Larry DeSario, Alice Church, Darcy Ramsey, Jeanne Kloska, Suzanne Timerman, Tim Hadfield, Sean Nealy, Wayne Boudreau...) At Kissena, we work to develop your cycling potential. We will help you achieve your goals whether they are to finish your first race, improve your bike split in the local triathlon, or qualify for the Olympic Team. If you are serious about riding or thinking about being more serious, we can help you become a better bike rider. If you love to ride and like competition, we can introduce you to bike racing. If you're interested in finding new friends to ride with, we can help with that too." |
