| Alto Velo is a bicycle-racing club based in Silicon Valley, California. We emphasize all racing categories with special emphasis on Master's and Women's racing. We recently added a formal Sr. Men's Category 1/2 team. The club was founded in late 1992, and was the USCF Best First Year Club in 1993. We currently have about 150 members. Yearly dues are $75, which includes a 3/4 zip Voler club jersey (costs club about $40), a year of our comprehensive newsletter, special club deals on clothing and equipment, race and travel reimbursements, subsidized coaching, and monthly meetings with guest speakers on cycling-related topics. |
