1) Tom Boonen (BEL) Quick Step: "As he says, PR is a different race and he has won it twice. I think he will be less tested to succeed away from his native Belgium. Another win and he's moving into the territory of the PR Greats"
2) Juan Antonio Flecha (SPA) Sky Pro Cycling Team: "One of the very few Spanish riders throughout history who can ride a good Classic race. Team Sky are counting on him to be their man again, as he was in Het Nieusblad."
3) George Hincapie (USA) BMC Racing Team: "I think Big George is back to his best Classic days and his love/hate of PR will see him come out fighting.
