About 15 of us met for the Friday rides at the Cotati Vets Building.

Janice and Chris spearheaded twelve or so Friendly Friday riders west out of Cotati to Chileno Valley and then on into Petaluma. Once there the group stopped for coffee and conversation before riding back to Cotati -- a beautiful and pleasant 35 mile ride.

So what did the Friday Riders do without Richard, their fearless leader? Well, once again, Gary and Mike agreed to ride more mileage than they had originally planned and devised a route out to Valley Ford-Franklin School Road, letting me tag along behind. After rendevousing with Jacques, Brian, Bill D. and Fred in Tomales, the seven of us headed for Chileno Valley.

CVR is one of the most picturesque in the county and the seven of us were treated with beautiful views and a tail wind. This group broke up though - Jacques and Brian must have had a sixth sense to avoid the head wind on Spring Hill Road because they went into Petaluma before returning to Cotati.

La Valle, Bill and Fred trailed Gary and Mike back, going into the head wind on Spring Hill and then over Pepper, Jewitt and back to the Vets Building - nearly 57 miles, just another great Friday ride!!!
